Alif to Ya introduces students to the Arabic alphabet and takes them step by step to reciting the Quran independently.

Highlights of the course

  • 20 consecutive days of learning and practice in the first 20 days of Ramadan
  • Major rules of recitation covered
  • Thorough review of Surah Fatiha and last 10 surahs in order to recite confidently in prayer
  • Strong focus on practice by reading well-known and unfamiliar passages of the Quran.
  • Holistic teaching approach with a pathway to further study including Arabic and Tafseer studies
  • Families welcome (Minimum age 10)
  • No prerequisites – complete beginners and those seeking to improve their recitation welcome
